How do I store music on a Muse Block?

  • Spotify or Apple Music need to be setup on your Sonos system. Please go to the Sonos app to make sure that the music services are installed.
  • Colored Muse Blocks with Gradients. You cannot store music on other Muse Blocks, for example, Sonos Radio Muse Blocks.

Step-by-step guide:

  1. Go to Spotify or Apple Music and open an album, playlist, radio station or other content that you would like to save on a Muse Block.
  2. Click on the 3 dots '...', then 'share', then 'copy link'.
  3. Switch to the Muse Blocks app and open the "Blocks" on the right side of the bottom menu. The music will automatically be pasted from your clipboard.
  4. Now click on "Save to Muse Block" and hold your phone close to a Muse Block until you receive a "success" notification.
  5. That's it. You can rewrite Muse Blocks as many times as you like.

How do I play music using a Muse Block?

  • An iPhone Xs or newer
  • Muse Blocks app installed
  • A Muse Block that you have already stored music on (see guide above)
  • In the Muse Blocks app, You have selected a “main speaker” where music should play

Step-by-step guide:

    1. Make sure that your screen is awake. Tapping a Muse Block does not work when your screen is black (there is a security feature in iOS that prevents this from working).
    2. Move your phone close to a block. For best results, don't tap the block but hold it about 1 cm away from the phone.
    3. Hold your phone in this position until a notification pops up. Click on the Notification.
    4. Music should now start playing on your “main Sonos speaker”, and any Sonos speaker that is currently grouped with this speaker. Once your music starts playing, you can change where music should be playing inside the Muse Blocks app.
